Competent and successful in the field of compression therapy
Focus on health
The current Bonn Vein Study* gives proof of the fact that venous disorders are among the most wide-spread of diseases. Approximately 90 % of German adults suffer from changes in their vein systems. The possible consequences may cover varicose veins, painful phlebitis and even open wounds on the legs.
Lack of mobility, protracted standing or sitting in one position are deemed to be the most frequent causes of venous disorders. Other risk factors include pregnancy, excessive weight, and weakness of the connective tissue or hereditary affliction.
The progress of the disease can be prevented only by a consequent treatment of the venous disorder in time.
Compression therapy continues to be the standard treatment for venous disorders. Today, modern compression stockings have nothing in common with the skin-coloured thick rubber stockings from ”grandma’s times“. On the contrary: the current products are knitted from soft and pleasant material and can be put on and off easily and convince by the optimum temperature and moisture exchange. Meanwhile, their optics can scarcely be differentiated from that of tights which renders them an ideal supplement for occupational and everyday clothing.
Our objective as a manufacturer of medical products is the following:
To promote the health and well-being of our patients with a successful course of therapy.
